Becki Drahota
President, Mills Financial Marketing

Becki founded Mills Financial Marketing in 1975 with a staff of two and one loyal client. Since that time, her nationally recognized company has grown to serve 50 active clients in 21 states.

In addition to serving on the faculty of the American Bankers Association School of Bank Marketing and Management, Becki speaks regularly on topics ranging from strategic planning and branding, to public relations for organizations. Becki and her team are regularly recognized by the financial industry, most recently bringing home their fourth national first place award from the American Bankers Association.

No stranger to juggling a career and family, Becki understands the challenge of living a full and busy life. She is a savvy business owner, and at the same time, a wife and mother. She figured out how to sell millions of dollars of Iowa Pork to Shanghai – yet, struggles to balance her own checkbook. And somehow she managed to raise two daughters without learning to French braid. (Okay, she can’t braid at all!) Like many women, Becki does whatever it takes to reach her goals. Even if that means earning an Executive MBA by commuting 6,000 weekend miles over 27 months – and using a Mac.

Becki is a chapter author in the book Wise Women Anthology, Choosing Stepping Stones Along the Path. Becki and her husband Richard, have two daughters and five grandchildren.
